Blog Chatter: A Community That Writes Together, Grows Together

If you are a blogger, it is unlikely that you haven’t heard of the name Blog Chatter. Though I published my first blog in 2018, it was during the pandemic that I decided to consolidate my blogs and my other writing services into one website. Once I did that, I started publishing more posts and engaged with other bloggers as well. So that is when I kept coming across the name Blog Chatter repeatedly.

I registered on Blog Chatter sometime towards the end of 2020 but did not do much. Then in early 2021, I heard about their book review program. I quickly registered for it as I love reading. I got the opportunity to review some wonderful books – some I may not have picked up otherwise. I discovered new authors, especially the new-age Indian authors, whose work I had not read till then.

Blog Chatter mainly aims at encouraging writers, their writing, and promoting the blog posts. Towards this objective, they run various campaigns throughout the year like My Friend Alexa, Blog Chatter Half Marathon, The A2Z challenge, etc. This year, I started my challenge journey with them with the Half Marathon. I am happy to say that I was able to complete the challenge successfully. I wrote the mandatory 10 posts over 15 days – which in itself was a new experience, as I was a very sporadic blogger. This helped me to start writing more regularly as it has now become a habit to at least write one post per week. I also got to read some great posts, across various categories. I hope I was able to meaningfully engage with other bloggers too, through this campaign. I highly recommend this program for all new bloggers looking to improve their writing skills and posting frequency. It fosters a commitment to your writing and helps you connect with other bloggers, who wholeheartedly support you.

Cause A Chatter is another program of their through which they aim to get people to talk & increase awareness about some very important subjects like Mental Health, Environment & Gender Talks. I registered for this program too and chose a subject close to my heart – Mental Health. Though I am not an expert, life experience and my keen observation of people around me have helped me write some posts on this.

If you are a blogger or someone looking to do some quality reading, you should definitely sign up for Blog Chatter. True to their ethos, they build the blogger community and help you discover / engage with other bloggers. Though they encourage competition, they do it in such a way that immaterial of winning every blogger cheers for the other and is very supportive. The team is also wonderful, sending regular emails on updates and keeping one engaged. Apart from this, they are quite prompt in responding and clarifying doubts in one-on-one chats as well.

I also joined their The Creative Souls Club on Facebook. This is not just about blogging and writing, but for everything creative. They have some very interesting discussion around art, movies, recommendations on series and much more.

I am looking forward to 2022 and a new journey with them. Hopefully, I will be able to participate in at least one of their more ambitious challenges like A2Z or My Friend Alexa. I also hope that they have their Ebook Program again like this year – a few of my friends published their work and had a very memorable experience. One of my dreams is to be a published author and this will be a good platform to begin that journey as well. Fingers Crossed.

  6. I completely echo your thoughts. Blogchatter is a community unlike any other. I haven’t been as active on Blogchatter this year since their campaigns clashed with work. All the best for the A2Z/Ebook Carnival in 2022. Looking forward to your debut book next year.

Blogchatter is the grandma of blogging – she can give you a hard time but you just gotta love her! Good luck to for trying your hand at the more ambitious campaigns! I’m a two-time A-Z’er, one-time published author and two-time Alexa participant!
